Lot 2 - View across the valley 23 This picture shows the flat area at the top of the site, from the spot where the proposed house would be built, and its view across the valley in a north-easterly direction. At the front of the two acres, the land drops sharply down to the Holmisdale road, where there are some very attractive rocks. The main house of No 16 is the chimney sticking up on the right-hand side. The telegraph pole marks the place where the mains electricity crosses the bottom of the site. The phone connection is also available from the same area, while the water mains is just across the road. So it would be relatively straightforward to install all major services.
