Adjoining the garden fence of 16 Holmisdale is a charming parcel of land of about half an acre, seen here, on which there is a ruined building, and where the current owners used to graze their pony. This land originally belonged to No 15, but was purchased some time ago by the previous owner. It makes a very attractive building plot, and the owners now have outline planning permission to build a traditional three-bedroom croft house down towards the far corner of the site, just beyond the pony in the picture. Road access here will be relatively straightforward; the water main crosses the plot (see concrete post) and electricity and phone are adjacent. The photo shows the view across the valley towards the north-east. | |
